A wider flare increases strength over straight loop inserts. Available in 1/2”, 3/4”, 1”, 1-1/4 and 1-1/2” bolt diameters. Parallel-Flared version This insert doubles the cross-sectional area of steel embedded in the concrete and increases the area of the shear cone, but can still be used for more confined applications where space is lacking. Available in 1”, 1-1/4” and 1-1/2” bolt diameters. Double-Flared and Criss-Cross versions increase the cross-sectional area of steel embedded in the concrete, whereby increasing the area of the shear cone. It has been designed for use in thicker precast concrete elements. Available in 1”, 1-1/4”, and 1-1/2” bolt diameters. All version available with or without washer. Plain and electroplated finishes are standard. Hot-dip galvanize finish is available.
