Bearing Pads & Shims
Neoprene Bearing Pads are load transferring, shock impacting, and able to contract and expand where needed. They also absorb vibration and noise. Available in Neoprene and Laminated Neoprene (layers of steel and neoprene in 50, 60 and 70 durometer hardness, 1/8” to 1” thick), Fabric and Teflon-Coated Fabric (8 oz. duck cloth and synthetic rubber), and Teflon (self lubricating fluorocarbon resins). The Shimpaks are designed to shim the height of precast units. Shims come in pre-assembled packages or packed by size and are banded for easy removal or addition of elements. Thicknesses range from 1/16”, 1/8”, 1/4” and 1/2”. Common sizes are between 2”x2” to 6”x12”. Custom packs are available. Call for further information.
